WCC Christmas Outing…
by Peter Myers on Sep.26, 2009, under Outings
Message From Andy Armitage…
Hi All!! In the words of a very beautiful baby girl “…Poppy I have and Idea…” Lets have a Waverly Camera Club Christmas outing. I propose we go somewhere together, not too far, and if we get enough takers lets book the place out. Lets take our cameras with us, and lets make it a club outing where we all take pictures of each other, dressed up (or not) Of course if we want to do this THIS Christmas then arrangements must be made quickly. Is there anyone in the club who might have access to a venue? I have at least 2 suggestions The Portsea Pub – is a fabulous venue, and that resturant on the top of Mt Dandenong where people go to take pictures of the city at night. Skyhigh Mount Dandenong.
How many members – and their guests of course, would like to go? I am prepared to coordinate such an event if I am not treading on some-one-elses toes. Think about it and let me know andrewmichael33@hotmail.com
A/V Special Interest Group Meeting
by Peter Myers on Sep.06, 2009, under Audio/Visual group
Tuesday Sept 8th sees the third monthly meeting of our A/V special interest group at Wadham House at 7.30pm.
For those of you who were at the “club night” last Tuesday and hopefully inspired by the A/V presentations from our judge Pele Leung, why not come along and start with us the journey of learning, so that hopefully one day we can all make A/V’s as inspiring as Peles’.
Last month, Ross showed us how to start creating an A/V.
This month we hope to take things a stage further. If anyone has an A/V they have either finished…or just started, or all stages in between, please bring it along on Tuesday and as a group we will analyze, dissect and learn…hopefully.
If anyone is struggling to produce an A/V because you do not have any appropriate software, well the good news is I have found a web service which will do it for you. Go to www.animoto.com and see for yourself.
See you all on Tuesday at Wadham House…7.30pm prompt
