This is taken from an email I received from Kodak regarding the Ballarat International Foto Biennale.

I’m very pleased to let you know about an event Kodak and ANZ are running as part of the Ballarat International Foto Biennale. We are running an event called “Capture Ballarat” – sort of like a “great race” around Ballarat, but instead of completing feats at each checkpoint, you are required to take photos at each of the 7 photo points. These 7 photos will be judged, and the winners awarded some fantastic prizes.

If you would like to know more about the entire Ballarat International Foto Biennale event, please go to their website http://www.blogger.com/www.ballaratfoto.org – the Biennale is the biggest photographic event in the southern hemisphere, expecting 40,000+ people to attend over the month 4th September – 4th October. The Yea Autumn Photo Competition was postponed this year because of the bushfires. It is now being held as a Spring competition.

It would be especially good if our members could give support to the Yea Camera Club this year. This is an ideal opportunity for some of the beginners to enter a competition, the entry form was attached to the email sent out by the Secretary.
