The monthly workshop on Tuesday 19th August is going to be a cracker. The club has managed to organise a lecture ‘All About Composition’ with Dr Les Walkling and you can read all about Dr Walkling by clicking his name. The night will start at 7.45pm so please be there at 7.30pm ready to go.
Please respect Dr Walkling on the night and ensure that your mobile phone is switched off, if you need to answer your phone please turn off the ringer.

This Tuesday’s workshop is all about Google’s NIK Software. Come along and see what the words Viveza or Dfine mean and learn how to use this software in conjunction with Photoshop from the Master Printer, Stuart D’Sylva. The workshop starts around 7.30pm and runs until around 10.30pm, please be there a little early to help setup the room and be seated ready to start.
Here’s a link to Google/NIK Software’s website where you can download a 15 day fully functioning trial, just hit the try button at the top of the page. Please note that you need to have an accompanying Adobe product to use NIK Software, download a trial copy of Lightroom or Photoshop HERE.

The workshop next Tuesday 20 May 2014 will be a demonstration of how to print, mount and submit your images into our monthly competitions. Note that this will be at Wadham House.

The workshop this month is a talk by Alistair Wilson (Vicki Moritz’s son) specialising in dramatic landscape and seascape photography.
So don’t miss this special night which because of recent numbers will be held in the Craft Room at the community centre and NOT at Wadham House. If you are unsure where the Craft Room is then just come to the Community Centre as if it were a competition night and walk right past the Main Hall and the Craft Room is on the right.

Dear All,
The outing on the 14th Jan 2014 will be held at Brickmakers Park in Oakleigh and is the annual club BBQ. The BBQ will start at 7pm and it is a bring and cook your own event although there are BBQ’s provided.
***PLEASE NOTE*** You will need to bring along prints for the February Competition as this will be the latest date for entries. I will be collecting the prints on Andy’s behalf as he will be away and the usual boxes will be available. Prior to the BBQ, you can also deliver prints to my house (email me for the address) or drop them off at Monash City Council’s Civic Centre during working hours. If you do come to the council office, please ensure that you ask for me in person and tell the staff that you are dropping off prints for me to collect so they can contact me. EDI Images can be emailed as usual at any time.
Parking at Brickmakers is along Stamford Road which can be accessed from FTG Road. Please see the maps below. Hope to see you all at the BBQ.
