Our September workshop will be on Fine art Printing with Daniela Barth.
Tuesday September 21st 7:30pm – Online via Zoom.
We have a couple of things happening tonight over Zoom.
First up, we have the club’s AGM commencing at 7:30PM. I appreciate this may not be everyone’s cup-of-tea, but it is an important event on the club calendar.
The AGM will be immediately followed by a workshop on post-processing software options led by Geoff Shaw, and ably assisted by John Noble on this occasion. This is the first part of a two-part series looking at alternatives to the usual Adobe suite of products (Bridge, Camera Raw, Photoshop, Lightroom etc.). The second part will be presented later in the year.
See you tonight.
Scott McNaughton is a professional photojournalist working for Fairfax media after graduation from PSC in 1999 – where he now teaches.
Join us tonight at 7:30pm over Zoom!
Please note that our workshop on Tuesday 15 June 2021 has been cancelled. This workshop is not practical to be done over Zoom and current COVID restrictions limit an in-person workshop to groups of up to 10 people.
Our workshop this month will be on minimalism with Mario Mirabile.
Tuesday 18th May 2021, 7:30pm via Zoom
This Saturday we have a tour of Valley Reserve with Ian Hunter about the indigenous plants and medicinal properties found in the Reserve.
The Waverley Camera Club will take photographs that will go towards an art exhibition in the Track Gallery, Mount Waverley Community Centre during NAIDOC Week (5-12 July). There may be an opportunity to take photos on the tour but I anticipate members will want to come back and take more images at a later time.
Do join us on Tuesday night by zoom to hear from Robyn Campbell – inspirational speaker, judge and photographer.
Our workshop on Tuesday 16th March 2021 will be with Alistair Wilson of Avant Visual on the planning, capture and processing of landscape photography.
Please note that this is an in-person event at the Mount Waverley Community Centre, is is NOT being held over Zoom.
7:30pm on Tuesday 16th Feb, 2021 via Zoom
Mieke is known to many members and we all know she can do a really good online workshop! When Mieke and I were discussing whether the first workshop for 2021 would be in person or by zoom we elected for a remote presentation just in case! Little thinking we would be in :ockdown 3.0!! So Abstract photography is something you can follow up on Wednesday and beyond – though you will need to leave home to do the aerials!
Our next workshop on Tuesday 20 October 2020 will be with by Richard Tatti of Nightscape Images, recommended by some members who have attended and enjoyed his workshops.
