We are currently running a mix of in-person and online meetings, please keep an eye on the calendar as well as your email for meeting details.
We are a very active club with a meeting almost every week of the month.
Competition meeting – First Tuesday (guests welcome)
This is the major highlight of our monthly calendar (apart from January and December) and it is a chance for members to enjoy the work of other photographers in the club but more importantly to socialise and enjoy the company of other like minded people. All our monthly competition entries can be reviewed in our online galleries. Further information, subjects and the rules of entry can be found under competitions. This meeting is held in the Main Hall of the Mount Waverley Community Centre.
Internal workshop night – Second Tuesday
This is where the meeting is run by members of the club and can involve activities such as:
- PSA Inbterclub image reviews
- Creative Special Interest Group
- Presentation of skills by a club member
The internal workshops will typically be run online via Zoom, but may also be in-person.
External workshop night – Third Tuesday (guests welcome)
This meeting is where we bring in someone external to the club to share their knowledge and experience. In the past this has ranged from talks by prominent photographers to hands on subjects such as framing and mounting prints
The workshop nights are typically held in the Main Hall of the Mount Waverley Community Centre, but also online via Zoom (such as when the presenter is based in another state or country).
Beginners Mentoring – Fourth Tuesday
The Mentoring Group is held online via Zoom, members bring along a couple of images which are shared with the group for review and feedback suggestions for improvement.
