Mieke is known to many members and we all know she can do a really good online workshop! When Mieke and I were discussing whether the first workshop for 2021 would be in person or by zoom we elected for a remote presentation just in case! Little thinking we would be in :ockdown 3.0!! So Abstract photography is something you can follow up on Wednesday and beyond – though you will need to leave home to do the aerials!

The first of the 2021 honours meetings will be held on Wednesday 10th February 2021, 7.30 pm via Zoom.
New members are very welcome and we will start the year with an overview of the various systems, and a discussion about why you would want to take this step!
Please send your award winning images from the last year or two through. We can all learn from what has done well! Also any images you are thinking of submitting for critique

Please join us for the final Honours/Intermediate group meeting for 2020 to review the results of Lake Macquarie International. This has been added to the schedule due to the closing of Maitland International Print salon in January.
On Wednesday 11th November 2020, Jen Fawkes will introduce a new special interest group concept for next year “Street Beat”.

Our next workshop on Tuesday 20 October 2020 will be with by Richard Tatti of Nightscape Images, recommended by some members who have attended and enjoyed his workshops.


All members are welcome at the honours group this month for a special session with Karen Alsop about editing your images using the Wacom tablet.

All members are welcome to join this workshop hosted by the Honours Group on Wednesday 12 August at 7:30pm.
This workshop will help members select and prepare images for club competitions and it will be of special benefit to those considering entering National or International competitions. The session will last for approximately 90 minutes and there wil be opportunities fo participants to ask questions.

Doug Porter is a Melbourne based photographic artist.
He will show us his images with a focus on painting with light and compositing in Photoshop.
