Reminder: Workshop & AGM Tonight

We have a couple of things happening tonight over Zoom.

First up, we have the club’s AGM commencing at 7:30PM. I appreciate this may not be everyone’s cup-of-tea, but it is an important event on the club calendar.

The AGM will be immediately followed by a workshop on post-processing software options led by Geoff Shaw, and ably assisted by John Noble on this occasion. This is the first part of a two-part series looking at alternatives to the usual Adobe suite of products (Bridge, Camera Raw, Photoshop, Lightroom etc.). The second part will be presented later in the year.

See you tonight.
Cheers, Russell.

Valley Reserve Walk – Saturday 1st May 2021

This Saturday we have a tour of Valley Reserve with Ian Hunter about the indigenous plants and medicinal properties found in the Reserve.

The Waverley Camera Club will take photographs that will go towards an art exhibition in the Track Gallery, Mount Waverley Community Centre during NAIDOC Week (5-12 July). There may be an opportunity to take photos on the tour but I anticipate members will want to come back and take more images at a later time.

Awesome Abstracts with Mieke Boynton

7:30pm on Tuesday 16th Feb, 2021 via Zoom

Mieke is known to many members and we all know she can do a really good online workshop! When Mieke and I were discussing whether the first workshop for 2021 would be in person or by zoom we elected for a remote presentation just in case! Little thinking we would be in :ockdown 3.0!! So Abstract photography is something you can follow up on Wednesday and beyond – though you will need to leave home to do the aerials!
